I’m on a mission to get the sample pile down to a manageable level over the next four weeks, and sometimes that entails opening things earlier than they should really be drunk, and the new Pewsey Vale Riesling 2025 looks very shy in my glass. Grapefruit, unripe lime, a little lemongrass, then a rather green palate that has the acid depth but not much flesh. Squeaky fresh limes aplenty, though. This is going to be a winner with age, which remains amazing for a wine that you can buy right now retail for under $20.
Oh, and if you have instant email updates ticked on, expect a shedload of posts over the next few weeks. Tune out (or in) now if your wine rack is overflowing…

- Would I buy it?: Worth a glass now, more later

This is our house Riesling and quality for $$ is off the chart. We put 6 down each year and they age superbly.
It’s easier to buy by the dozens….saves you having to go back to the store every 5 minutes
1961 block is another level again
Love the 1961 Block
In the words of Roy and HG almost, too many Andrew reviews are barely enough.
Love Roy and HG – too much is not enough and enough is not too much.
Their State of Origin calls were a thing of magic.
The wine fridge overflowed a while ago! Love the reviews as they keep me in touch with what’s going on and Pewsey Vale has always been a favourite.
