Pewsey Vale Riesling 2025

Diving into the new Pewsey Vale Riesling 2025 too early

I’m on a mission to get the sample pile down to a manageable level over the next four weeks, and sometimes that entails opening things earlier than they should really be drunk, and the new Pewsey Vale Riesling 2025 looks very shy in my glass. Grapefruit, unripe lime, a little lemongrass, then a rather green palate that has the acid depth but not much flesh. Squeaky fresh limes aplenty, though. This is going to be a winner with age, which remains amazing for a wine that you can buy right now retail for under $20.
