Coriole Barbera 2011 (McLaren Vale, SA)
13.5%, Screwcap, $25

Tasted: April 2013
I tasted 9 months ago, but the sentiment still stands. Not a bad result given the vintage.
This shows a cranberry and fern leaf brackishness suggesting a little underripeness. Curranty, high acid palate is riper than the nose suggests making for a pure, if slightly spiky, Barbera.
Drink: 2013-2018
Score: 16.5/20, 88/100
Would I buy it? Not quite.
