Fixation IPA

BEER: Fixation IPA

I’ve had four bottles of these Fixation IPA now; enough to know that this is right up my alley.

Fixation is an offshoot of Stone & Wood, with a focus purely on IPA. This is the inaugural Fixation IPA, with a range of other beers to follow (I believe there is a double just released).

Featuring four ‘new world’ hop varieties with a pale malt background, this is very much the West Coast IPA style with big hoppy aromatics and a palate that is light on the malt. Big impact, but not astringent, this is punchy and full of flavour with great length.

I’m a fan. Great to see the IBUs (65) printed on the label as well. More of that info please brewers. 4.5 stars. 6.4%. Would I buy it again? Absolutely.
