Minimalist by name, minimalist by nature. All Piccadilly Valley fruit, barrel fermented and then spends 8 months in 40% new oak.

Interestingly this is a quite fruity number, with figs and nectarine complete with an exotic twist (some late picked grapes)? Palate, too, is very much driven by fruit, not oak or winemaking, with cleansing grapefruity acidity and a little warmth.

Capitalising on ripe juiciness, without losing acidity this is simply tasty. Not complex, but refreshing. Best drinking: 2016-2020. 17.7/20, 92/100. 13%, $35.
