$22 well spent: Airlie Bank Pinot Noir 2018

Airlie Bank Pinot Noir 2018

Be amazed at the value. Or at least just appreciate how much effort went into a $22 wine. A huge 40% whole bunches in the mix here, and it shows, with an imprint of mulchy stems over light raspberry fruit. If anything it’s too serious for a $2o red. with firm tannins bouncing off the crunchy berries. But gee I like it, and I like the energy of this light, frisky, spicy Yarra Pinot. And I love the price. Best drinking: Now. 17/20, 90/100. 12%, $22. Would I buy it? Sure would.
