Opawa Pinot Noir 2017
Marlborough Pinot from the Nautilus empire – easy attraction here and well priced. It’s a little lean, complete with a dash of mint. But that’s part of the appeal – it’s even, not overdone and tastes like Marlborough Pinot. Ticks many boxes for $27. Best drinking: Now to three years. 17/20, 90/100. 13%, $27. Would I buy it? Worth sharing a bottle as a start.

Saw this on today’s posting. I sought the Opawa 2018 pinot gris from a retailer after I have two bottles for a work function last December. A beautifully complex, full flavoured stunner. I reckon it would have scored a few more points than its 2017 brother in the above pinot.
I really like the Opawa wines. A little variability is my only gripe.
