Raidis Estate Wild Goat Shiraz 2015

Easily appealing Coonawaarra Shiraz from Steve and Emma Raidis. Cocoa powder oak, a little Coonawarra mint, the palate old school, mid noughties ripe and oak shaped, but affable all the same (and with solid tannins too). It’s what a sub $30 Coonawarra Shiraz wants to be, even if I want it to be a bit more savoury and less oak-driven. Best drinking: Now to ten plus years. 17/20, 90/100. 14%, $28. Would I buy it? A glass or so.
