BentSpoke Cluster 8 IIPA

BEER: BentSpoke Cluster 8 IIPA my delicious Father’s Day present

My first ever Father’s Day was pretty special. And this beery gift was one of the highlights.

I’ve been drinking plenty of BentSpoke’s Sprocket IPA, with the ‘flip top’ lids on the tins still entertaining two years after my first can (and the beer going down well).

The BentSpoke Cluster 8 IIPA has a rare balance too. IIPA, by nature, shouldn’t be this sessionable, this even. It all kicks off with piney hops, then malt through the middle, and relatively soft bitterness (65 IBU) and alcohol that just doesn’t feel intrusive. You’d even call it delicate, despite the alcohol, a moderate IIPA of integration and balance.

Delicious. Just delicious. I’m keen for much more.
