Review: Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio 2018

Pretty much what you want in a northern Italian Grigio. Ripe pear juice balanced out by acidity. Has a slightly fatty mid palate, but good tang here. Chalky, grippy phenolics a punctuation to push the agenda. While not super exciting, you can pick this up for sub $15 out there in retail land, at which price it’s a fair bargain. Best drinking: now. 16.8/20, 89/100. 12.5%, $20. Would I buy it? At promo price, for sure.
