Dom Torzi’s Barossa Sangiovese and every bit the uncomplicated and delicious drink. Indeed this Vigna Cantina Sangiovese 2019 is varietal, bright, and stuffed full of summer berries and sandy Sangiovese tannins. It’s a bit simple for really high points, but sloshable drinkability is high and it’s actually more serious than you’d at first expect. Best drinking: now to seven years. 17/20, 90/100. 14%, $28. Torzi Matthews website. Would I buy it? A glass or two.
