Quilty & Gransden Merlot 2018

Review: Quilty & Gransden Merlot 2018

Right, let’s get back into a few wines.

This is another excellent red under the Quilty & Gransden label. $15 is incredible. An Orange Merlot of real concentration, it is all mint, dark berries oak richness, hearty tannins. It’s a really substantial wine. A bit minty and raspy, but as the back label says, it’s robust! Silver medal wine at a ‘no medal’ price.

Quilty & Gransden Merlot 2018. Best drinking: good now and for the next five years easy. 17/20, 90/100. 13.5%, $15. Quilty & Gransden website. Would I buy it? Well worth a glass.
