Sapling Yard The Four Pinots Rosé 2022

Sapling Yard The Four Pinots Rosé 2022

This Sapling Yard The Four Pinots Rosé 2022 is one of the better rosé to pass the desk in recent months and another success from Sapling Yard. An interesting blend, too – Pinot Gris from Boorowa, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier from Tumbarumba, and Pinot Blanc from the Sapling Yard Vineyard in Braidwood. All the Pinot mutations! Half fermented wild in oak, the rest in stainless. More like a white wine than pink, with pear fruit and just a little pink grapefruit. There’s a red apple generosity here that makes it too, and again, dry and fresh as well yet soft enough to be tasty. Nice pink.

Best drinking: now. 17.7/20, 92/100. 12.5%, $28. Sapling Yard website. Would I buy it? Worth a few glasses.
