Another fine single vineyard Ten Minutes By Tractor Pinot. Like the McCutcheon, this is an elegant 12.5% alcohol thing, too. Notably, the Judd vineyard is the highest of the 10X sites but always produces more fruit volume due to a westerly aspect. You can see that in the lucid, just squished raspberry and cranberry juice nose. Delicacy is the word for the Ten Minutes By Tractor Judd Pinot Noir 2021, too, with the bright raspberry fruit lifted up by a line of vanilla oak. If anything, the oak is more obvious in this wine, but that’s also because you can see every nook and cranny on what is a streamlined Pinot. This sort of slightly bony style isn’t for everyone, but I like the lithe energy (and it’s delicious).
