St Hugo Signature Collection Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2022

Review: St Hugo Signature Collection Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2022

The St Hugo range keeps getting bigger and bigger. Plenty of crowd-pleasing Barossan reds in the lineup now too, just like this St Hugo Signature Collection Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2022

Grenache is the king here. The jubey fruit pastille profile has a slickness to it that is immediately appealing and complemented with a (not intrusive) layer of chocolate oak. The flavours don’t quite graduate beyond that lifted Grenache raspberry/mulberry, but it is plump and mouthfilling in its sweet fruited generosity. Bound to be popular.
