Harewood Estate Tunney Riesling 2022

Review: Harewood Estate Tunney Riesling 2023

Another day, another excellent Harewood Riesling. Ha! Indulge my Riesling love, eh! This comes from Frankland River fruit. Definitely a more grapefruity style compared to the Denmark wine, and again excellent intensity – a big grapefruit punch, but with a Gewurz-like linalool edge. The palate is so perfectly defined, with a little black texta and green fruit in among the grapefruit. Just excellent length and carry, if slightly outclassed by the Denmark wines different shades of flavour and density. Hair-splitting! The only thing really wrong here is I have last vintage’s picture (which is becoming a habit).
