Castel Firmian Pinot Grigio 2022

Review: Castel Firmian Pinot Grigio 2022

We’re in Trentino here with one of the gazillion releases from the Mezzacorona winery. This is Pinot Grigio with flavour – pear juice, cut pears and a little honeysuckle plus nutty almond hints. A broad-brushed and quite ripe style, too – not delicate, more blocky. It has some persistence, though – a blunt object, but the pear flavours really hang around. Solid drinking.
