Tokar Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2023

Review: Tokar Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2023

Martin Siebert’s Tokar wines are always delicate and graceful; there is no change here. Despite the 13.5% alcohol, this is still a refined Chardonnay. It’s crisp, with creamed apple lightness in a lean and airy mode. This vintage is just mid-weight, but it doesn’t have a defining character besides fresh, lightly creamed apples—it just slips through. Pleasant, if not a great vintage of this wine.
