Juniper Cornerstone Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Review: Juniper Cornerstone Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

It’s very kind of Juniper to deliver a prime Margaret River Cabernet with a few extra years on it. This Juniper Cornerstone Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is in a good place, too. Leather and dark berries, with a mulchy bottle age edge to the dark, slightly point traditional Margaret River Cabernet form. My only gripe is the acidity on this full-bodied, dark berried red – it’s just a bit firm and raw, with the firmness/minty contrast of some mixed ripeness. No shortage of heart, though.
