Torzi Matthews Mystic Park Rosé 2023

Review: Torzi Matthews Mystic Park Rosé 2023

Barossa Sangiovese rosé here from Dom Torzi, and as is the usual Torzi mode, it’s ridiculously well priced, sitting at just $20 in retail land. It is also a smart, juicy but very much a dry style pink wine, built in the rosato style (which means a bit more flavour. Who doesn’t like flavour)? Pale copper coloured, it smells and tastes of forest berries with gently creamy edges. That contrast between berried riper fruit and a little creamy just works, even if it’s not profound. Good drinking.
