Parish Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2024

The super snappy Parish Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Let’s get stuck into the sample pile this week, hey?

From Forcett in Tassie comes a crisp, if slightly too firm, Sauvignon Blanc made by the Hill Smith Family’s Tasmanian operation. It’s bright, super snappy, clean crust just snapped green bean and green pea. Insanely delineated – you can see every element of this detailed herbaceous Sauv. Basil, jalapeños, green herbs all of it.

The key challenge is that it ends up a bit too dry and cutting rather than delivering a bit of generosity. Admirable intensity, though.
