It’s nothing but net this week at Australian Wine and Drinks Review, with gold medal quality only. Let’s take a look at another excellent wine from the Renzaglia family,
This Renzaglia Central Ranges Chardonnay 2024 is part of the range that draws from vineyards all over the Central Ranges (rather than just the home property in Bathurst). We’re off to Orange here, with fruit from the Patina Vineyard going into what is a seriously cool (on many levels) wine. I love the texture, indeed it’s a mark of all the Renzaglia wines, with this feeling intense, thick (a good thick), mouthfilling, yet it snaps and crunches properly too. Wonderful. No doubt the winemaking helps with the texture – wild ferments, full malo, carefully handled solids, the lot. It’s a bit funky, but not cheesy, with custard apple. lemon, yeasty aftershave musk, layers of marzipan and meringue, with a lovely lemon tang contrast. Well done.

Fixed now. You can call me the tech guy today.
While I have the tech guy’s attention I’m not sure why my name appears on here as passionateflower2a6bea12de, it used to be my real name. Oh well.
I’m a subpar tech guy. But I believe if you go here you can change your username: https://wordpress.com/me/account
