I’ve never quite grasped why the WA Chenins are mostly off dry and ordinary. Why? It can be such a noble grape, yet faces constant ignominy in Western Australia?
Light honeysuckle fruit with direct, tinned peach flavours and a short palate. Looks very simple and lacks flavour to match the acidity.
Serviceable, no more.
Drink: 2013
Score: 14.8/20 83/100
Would I buy it? No.
