A McLaren Vale Rousanne eh? I’d love to see this a little richer and more wild and Rhoney actually, but it is refreshing.
Dry and neutral smelling with the barest hint of barrel in amongst the red apple varietal fruit. Acidity is a fraction raw but not unripe and otherwise bright and fresh. Grows on you this does, if a fraction too neutral ultimately.
Drink: 2013-2015
Score: 16.8/20 89/100
Would I buy it? Not quite. Pleasant drinking though.
