I expected less.

I expected a much skinnier Filsell than what has been delivered, the wine just as thick set and plump as Filsell normally is. Sure, you can see a little more of that raw 2011 vintage malic acid, and it is shorter than the norm, but fans of the full, American oak sweetened, classic Barossa Shiraz style aren’t going to be disappointed here.

Drink: 2013-2021
Score: 17.5/20, 91/100
Would I buy it? I’d prefer the 2010 but this is pretty damn solid.
