Symphonia Petit Manseng 2008

What a curious wine this is. Inspired by Jurancon apparently but made more like a simply unoaked white, the style quite reductive, the fruit showing some maturing marmalade and straw characters and toast with slightly twangy acidity.

Not convincing enough in it’s fruit/acid balance, the fruit dull and tiring already. Still, this does have some penetration, if largely just acidity driven. Options game oddity, no more.
