‘Mouth watering Eden Valley Riesling at its purest’
Another successful wine from Dom ‘Midas Touch’ Torzi. Here we see a slightly more juicy expression of his Frost Dodger Riesling, the warm and dry season giving more colour to the wine and more expression all round. It still carries that trademark combination of lime sherbet and just a little leesy custard powder, over a palate that wavers between dry and limey, purely natural acidity and more fuller, almost toasty edges.
Acid driven, yet still quite generous this vintage, I think this is perhaps just a little forward, but probably not enough to blemish what is a very tasty wine.
