Reads well doesn’t it? The right recipe for premium Mornington Pinot. The packaging looks smart too – all present and correct.
I just wish that it was as convincing in the glass – a little confected on the nose, it smells warmer than 13.6% with the candied strawberry character that ripe, warm fermented Mornington Pinot can carry. The palate follows with a faintly soupy edge to the glacé red fruit, a welcome twinge of meatiness on the finish before a mid-weight, slightly warm finish.

Would I buy it? A glass maybe but not worth a bottle purchase.
