Waipara Wai Pinot Gris 2013 (Waipara, NZ)
13.5%, Screwcap
Pear juice on the nose suggests ripe fruit, but the palate shows none of the weight or intensity of good Pinot Gris, all pointy to high yeiding fruit and ‘lets make this as quickly as possible’ wine production. It’s not faulty and there is some varietal flavour, but otherwise utterly unremarkable.
No.
