Capital Wines ‘The Whip’ Canberra Riesling 2014
Always like the packaging on these ‘Ministry Series’ wines from Capital. Fun.
This is approachable stuff too. It smells of cooked limes, sherbet and a dash of ginger – there’s a generosity here, with more sweetness than I remember. Indeed there’s a Deep Spring lemon/lime about this, with the same slight excess of sweetness. Nicely framed and friendly though – a little more punch to balance the sweet and this would be a winner.
