Willow Bridge Estate G1-10 Geographe Chardonnay 2013
Another strong release under this label. High five Simon Burnell.
Fine, grilled nuts and lemon butter nose, delicate balance of oak and lees, the palate is a little more rounded than some vintages of this but unequivocal in that biting lemon acidity.
Maybe a little oak tannins on the finish but otherwise good harmony of flavour. Carries the fullness of something warm climate and ripe yet the acidity is clean and the package is well balanced.
Good stuff, yet again.
