Mitchell Harris Sauvignon Blanc Fume 2014

Mitchell Harris Sauvignon Blanc Fume 2014

Sourced from the Peerick Vineyard vineyard at Moonambel. Wild fermented with some parcels sitting on skins for 2 weeks, then in French oak for 6 months.

Subtle citrus nose, with white flowers in a reticent form. Light dry palate has a little pineapple but also looks underpowered and a bit tinny.

Misses the mark and picked too early, if fresh. Others in my house liked it much more. Drink: 2015-2020. 16/20, 87/100

Details: 12%, Screwcap, $25, Sample
Would I buy it? No.
