BEER: Bridge Road Mikkeler Dark Harvest

A fresh hopped dark ale collaboration beer between Bridge Road and Mikeller.

Made from Rostrevor hop garden experimental hops, it’s rich, dark chocolate bitter malty and dry, though with a hop flourish. Plenty of toasty malt, but it’s not heavy – rather it’s every bit the dark ale. Fun too, with flavour and freshness. 4 stars. 6.6%, brewed on 31/03/16.  Would I drink it again? Absolutely.

  1. We had a bottle of this tonight. What a great beer. I’ve drunk a lot of Mikkeler when living in the UK and miss it, and the prices, terribly. For my palate, Mikkeler more often than not nails the balance with his hops. I’ve had quite a bit of Bridge Road, and nothing apart from this beer has grabbed me. Nice one! 🙂
