Kaiju! Beer Aftermath Double IPA

BEER: Kaiju! Beer Aftermath Double IPA

 Kaiju! Beer Aftermath Double IPA

Another day, another full tilt Kaiju beer. I feel like a groupie now. May need a t-shirt.

This blends the impact of a West Coat IPA with the malt richness of a more classic Imperial. The pine of IPA hops announces things, then caramel toasty malt and a long long finish. As ever, this is big beer. But not overwrought. Lots of malt and hops, all making for a whallop of everything. One is enough, but it’s a glorious single beer. 4.5 stars. 9.1% Brewed 300316. Would I buy it again? Yes. But hardly sessionable.
