Old Jarvie is the new label of Hither & Yon, with Old Jarvie the reference to Admiral John Jervis, whom the Gulf of St Vincent was named after.

Bright packaging, interesting blends and more, there is lots to like about the label.

This pink is surprisingly serious too, although the red lolly on the nose would suggest otherwise. Underneath the palate is dry and long, every bit the ‘rosato’ with pink grapefruit and a grippy finish, balanced by judicious sweetness. Balance is very good.

Ticks many boxes and does so with style. I like. Best drinking: 2016-2017. 17.5/20, 91/100. 12.9%, $30. Would I buy it? I’d share a bottle for starters.
