Newstead Brewing Co. Two to the Valley IPA

Features West Coast USA hops, though in a format that is probably closer to a hoppy English IPA. Lots of caramel malt character here which evens out the hop bitterness, delivering some delicious richness if not quite the massive punch (75 IBU though).

It’s a bit full to be classically quite sessionable, but there is appeal in this quasi-crossover style even if it doesn’t hit the really high notes. 3.5 stars. 5.9%. Would I buy it again? Not really.
