Coonawarra – not the first place you’d go looking for premium Chardonnay. This is in an odd place too, with minimal oak, and lots of ripe peachy fruit. It’s broad, simple and a bit tinny; like a premium unwooded Chardonnay from the early noughties (what a junk time for Chardonnay).

Not quite. Best drinking: 2017-2019. 15.5/20, 85/100. 13%, $20ish. Would I buy it? No.
