Brothers at War I’m Always Right Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Another well-weighted release from the Wardlaw brothers. From a vineyard at 390m outside of Eden Valley. it’s a really quite contained and thoroughly regional with a blackberry dipped in milk chocolate character that is more about fruit than oak, the palate ripe but graceful palate. Not a big wine but has a lovely flow to it. I feel like it’s missing just the tannins to make it a banger. Best drinking: Now, to more than ten years with that balance. 17.5/20, 91/100. 14%, $35. Would I buy it? A glass or so.
