Tellurian Blanc 2019

Review: Tellurian Blanc 2019

Hello textural whites. This Tellurian Blanc 2019 is Marsanne & Riesling from the Tellurian vineyard and Fiano from a neighbouring vineyard in Heathcote. Quite the party. Tangy, with some skin contact driving the palate, the fruit ripe but not overripe, the wine made reductive and fresh, with that tang driving things along. I think I’d prefer even more flesh to round off the sharp finish. But it’s affable and there’s more to it than many equivalent $25 whites. Good.

Best drinking: nowish. 17.5/20, 91/100. 13.2%, $24. Tellurian website. Would I buy it? Worth a glass.
