A chat with Great Southern Riesling legend Rob Diletti

Rob Diletti seems like a genuine bloke.

I spent just under an hour interviewing the Great Southern Riesling legend recently, and came away impressed by an honest, reserved estate-focussed vigneron. Someone happiest in the tractor/at the press who prefers straight talking, riding his surf ski and hard work.

More Dilettis, and less celebrity wine brands and the drinks world will be a better place.

Anyway, you can read the story in this month’s Gourmet Traveller WINE (read online here, or purchase the magazine at any good retailer) out today.

Let me know what you think.
