Ten Minutes By Tractor 'Up The Hill' Pinot Noir 2021

Ten Minutes By Tractor ‘Up The Hill’ Pinot Noir 2021

This is the companion wine to the ‘Down The Hill’ Pinot Noir that I tasted last month and sourced from vineyards in the higher (Red Hill) part of the Mornington Peninsula.

I know I’m biased, given my history with 10X, but this is such an enjoyable, lighter-styled Mornington Pinot. Super light ruby in a nod to the delicacy, but it’s not unripe. Just ripe cherry raspberry, sappy, high acid palate – a real limpid freshness, with some raspberry pastille fruit to carry it off. Lovely wine, even if it’s a little bony.

Best drinking: this will live for ages, given that acidity. But I’d still drink it over the next five years. 18/20, 93/100. 12.5%, $54. Ten Minutes By Tractor website. Would I buy it? Yes.
