Juxtaposed Old Vine Grenache 2021

Review: Juxtaposed Old Vine Grenache 2021

A blend of old vine Grenache from the Smart & Wait Vineyards. While the more expensive single vineyard wines in the range (which will also be reviewed today) are a step above, this is the most approachable. Purple and red berry Grenache openness, with more berry jubey open fleshy flavours. There aren’t the same profound layers as the Wait Vineyard (which will also lob up today), but a lovely purple generosity to it.
