Review: Hirsch Hill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Review: Hirsch Hill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Following in the mode of the 2022 version of the same wine, but maybe a little more composed (thanks to time in bottle). Dark, leafy, pencilly Yarra claret scents but in a riper-edged mode; but that’s a ruse as underneath its tangy, pencilly, lightly leafy and very composed with powdery tannins and noticeable acidity. Classy and composed, it’s a little lean but ultimately nice going.
