Grenache is such a pleasurable grape when well treated (or, more correctly, it makes pleasurable red wines). This Chapel Hill The MV Bush Vine Grenache 2023 is a charmer – soft gummy raspberry and redcurrant. Squishy and a fruity perfume to it – would have smelled delicious while it was fermenting. Lovely soft red jubey palate too, with a little watermelon and raspberry lolly. It’s a mid-palate wine, maybe a bit short, with minimal tannins and lots of enveloping, joyous fruit.
