Parish Vineyards Riesling 2024

Review: Parish Vineyards Riesling 2024

Parish Vineyards is part of the Hill-Smith family’s Tassie adventure. This Riesling comes from Sorell, NE of Hobart (fun fact – Sorell is one of Tasmania’s oldest towns). It’s a steely and stony Riesling with bitterness, lemon, and grapefruit tautness. Firm, a bit shy, with an acid-shaped palate that is all natural but a bit awkward. The intensity is there, though – a proper citrussy push of citrussy concentration. It just needs time to build some palate beyond citrussy acidity.
