The Adelaide Hills whites have been amongst the greatest improvers in the Wirra Wirra range, with the Riesling, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc looking more impressive every vintage. This looks bang on the money too.
Fully ripe passionfruit nose over an evenly ripe and quite fleshy palate. Shows a certain weight to it that suggests perfectly healthy ripe fruit. A fraction simple and rather firmly acidic to finish, but certainly clever and contained.
Well made and an easy recommendation.
Drink: 2013-2014
Score: 17/20 90/100
Would I buy it? I’d drink a glass.
