Tasted: January 2014

A little internet hunting reveals that this can be had for just $5/bottle. Hard to beat at that price methinks, even if this is very simple juice.

Super bright colour here – like it has been filled in with a Texta. Nose is all squished berry juiciness over a softly sweet palate, finishing short and punctuated by added acidity.

A very light, sweet and fruit juice-esque Shiraz no doubt, but not terrible at all – a big step above cask wine. Nothing cynical about the style either, if sweet.

Drink: 2014-2015
Score: 15/20, 83/100
Would I buy it? No. But others would and should.
