Dodgy Brothers Shiraz 2012 (McLaren Vale, SA)
15%, Screwcap, $29
Just 355 6 packs were produced of this Shiraz – a small make if ever there was one.
Produced from vineyards in the warm Sellicks foothills (the warmest, southernmost part of the McLaren Vale wine range), this showcases the deep, fudgy and rich southern Vale style – big wines to get your teeth into.
Oh and if you’re after a little context on the Dodgy Brothers story best start here.
A big, black licoricey number that isn’t traditionally my sort of style, I found myself quite enjoying this.

Would I buy it? If I was looking for a big Vale fruit hit this would be high on the menu.
