Stoneleigh Latitude Marlborough Pinot Noir 2013
This is normally an easy pick from the Stoneleigh range. Hope this is an odd bottle.
Smoky cherry nose. Quite a leafy edge really – undergrowth ahoy. There’s a real bitter streak through the middle too, an astringency that is really quite unexpected, the wine finishing with a green note.
Not a great amount of pleasure here.
