Bremerton Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Well priced red: Bremerton Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Now here is a classically proportioned Langhorne Creek red at a sharp price.

I say classically proportioned because this Bremerton Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is a biggun’. Dark red colour, boatloads of choc mint and blackberry on nose and palate, then a firmly tannic, cocoa-powder-oak-meets-grape-tannin-finish.

Bremerton Coulthard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

I’ve been critical of some of the Bremerton reds for an excess of ripeness and oak but this seems naturally well formed. As if all other Bremerton reds are just warmups for the Cabernets. In 2 years time it will look even better too, and then you’ll be happy that you bought it cheap and life will be good.

A very safe investment for $22. Best drinking: 2017-2027. 17.5/20, 91/100. 14.5%, $22. Would I buy it? I’d go a bottle and tell many to buy some too.
