Crabtree Watervale Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Crabtree Watervale Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Handpicked, open fermented and basket pressed. 14-18 months in barrel. Proper Clare Cabernet this, with lovely soft drying tannins and a real savoury profile. Balance is really good too, with that old school Clare slow-burn to the finish too. More than solid and very well priced! Best drinking: Now to ten years easy. 18/20, 93/100. 14%, $26. Would I buy it? Sure would, this is packed with appeal.
